Drawn from Bees – Cautionary Tales for the Lionhearted

Dreamy, art-rock four piece Drawn from Bees’ newest EP, Cautionary Tales for the Lionhearted, paints vivid and hallucinogenic sonic landscapes for your mind’s eye to enjoy.

The group, consisting of singer, guitarist Dan James; bassist Stew Riddle; guitarist Raven Jones; and drummer Matt Wedmaier, has some musical DNA in the same tender and sensitive vein of Travis, Coldplay and The Parlotones.  I’ve always heard there was something inherently magical about Australia and Drawn from Bees provide some clout to that rumor.

Cautionary Tales for the Lionhearted is best served in a chill-out session amongst friends.  So grab a seat in the cool, night air and spin this EP to your heart’s content; specifically the songs, “The East Wood Fox,”  “Picture Show” and “Waiting for the End.”
