Confluence Offers “The Only Thing Constant” For this weeks free download.

ConfulenceBlogSliderAccording to the band, “The Only Thing Constant” was inspired by the phrase “the only thing constant is change.” The song makes allusions to time passing too fast, and ultimately, that we will all face death someday. Until then, we must live each day to the best of our ability

The group have known each other for nearly a decade, playing with each other in various musical incarnations over the years. After Gassman’s previous band broke up in summer 2011, Alan Hubbard, Spenser Leighton and Gassman began messing around as a trio. While they wrote a few songs, they knew something was missing. By February of 2012, that something was found when Brett DeWire joined the group. Their new groove and riff-driven sound developed out of months of playing live and workshopping new material, and gives a glimpse at the entertaining variety of their live shows.
