Lonely Island-Turtleneck and Chain

Lonely Island has done it again, managed to make another great parody album that is both hilarious and so good that you’ll actually want to listen to it. In “Turtleneck & Chain,” Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone bring the magic from SNL skits to your ears yet again in an album that could be better than the first. It has all the great SNL skits that you may be familiar with, along with a ton of other great songs and skits that will keep you entertained throughout the entire album, including “I Just Had Sex FT Akon,” “Motherlover FT Justin Timberlake” and a handfull of other superstars (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bolton) that end up being featured as the funniest parts of the album instead of just singing on the album. The only downfall of the album is that despite being 18 tracks, it is still a quite short album. But, is it worth it? …well, yes; “Turtleneck & Chain” is great.

(I’ve never liked Akon more)
