Lil Wayne-The Carter IV

Lil Wayne comes with a hugely disappointing album in the Carter IV, I thought I would write an article in the same fashion; a lot of quick quips and I’m not going to tell a story.

The Carter IV is like a souped up muscle car, a lot of power…but it has become so heavy in the build that it just sits there and spins its wheels.

Lil Waynes rhymes are good, fun even; in the end, I couldn’t tell you what anything was about. They are completely pointless, he is like Dr. Suess making up words in order to rhyme…except I like Dr. Suess.

The stand outs on the album are the featured artists, Cory Gunz, Drake, Tech N9ne, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, and John Legend. Its not good when Lil Wayne isn’t the best thing on a Lil Wayne album.

You would think with all that time spent in jail, he might have found some time to write a good album.

It leaves you to connect the dots, I already did my part by buying the album, all I ask is that you make some sense!

We get it, you represent Young Money Records! No need to tell us on every track.

Shut the fuck up T-Pain. Your auto-tuned voice is getting more absurd every time I hear it. Shame on you Lil Wayne for supporting his dumb ass. The best thing about T-Pain is auto-tune the news.

6 Foot 7 Foot is a good track, I was hoping the whole album would be as good.

You can’t claim that you are the greatest rapper alive and then put out garbage.

I am the greatest writer alive.

Is Drake related to Lil Wayne? They sound like the same guy, except Drake’s voice isn’t quite as annoying and he has a little more talent.

Summary: Carter IV is terrible, just download 6 Foot 7 Foot and call it a day.

Note: In the off-chance that Lil Wayne reads this, I am a fan…but you have to do better than this buddy.
