Funk/Soul for the Week

Saturday Love- Cherelle & Alexander O’Neal: Ah Yeah!  Now this is Old School!  I hope you guys appreciate these songs, because it would be a waste for you not to appreciate these tracks I’m throwing out there!  This song was tha shiznit back in the day!  It still sounds as good today as it did back 1985.  This is the 2nd track off her sophomore album High Priority.  This song does things to me that I don’t think I can publicly acknowledge!  Damn this is good!

Try Me- James Brown: The hardest working man in show business comes at us with this classic soul slow jam!  What’s so great about this song is its simplicity, the lyrics are very simple, yet it has that classic soul sound!  James out-did himself when recording this track!  It is hard to believe that this song was recorded over 50 years ago.  It is the 7th track off James Browns 1959 debut album Please Please Please.
